Is it possible to get very good balance with tape weights, as is with the regular
weights that's installed on both sides of the wheel?
I think the only way to get very good balance is, if the weights are installed
on both sides (Dynamic Balance) of the rim, if required.
when they balance using tape weights, I believe they have special balance setup,
not Dynamic Balance. I guess they can always go back and select Dynamic and double
check how good the balance is.
But then again, some BMW's OEM rims and most of the aftermarket rims have smooth
outside - no lip for weight.
