I had my doubts about this tire, especially on my '92 Lexus ES300 where touring tires are the norm (although I now have 16x7.5" aftermarket wheels). After hours and hours of research, I broke down and purchased the W-10s (215/55-16)as opposed to the SP 9000s. The W-10s are spectacular! Ride is wonderfully smooth, yet responsive. Can't believe how quiet these tires ride as well (even with that radical tread design).
This is my first set of Dunlops and I am now a believer. And no, I don't work for Dunlop :-).
