The tire wheel combo your mustang has is actually the best suspension setup an 83 Mustang had available back in '83.
Don't even think of mounting 15" to the TRX rims. The rims and tires weren't the only special setup, it also included
special anti-sway bars, shocks, springs, and low friction ball joints. The whole setup made for one sticky steed.
If you bought the rims because they were cheap its because the replacement tires are expensive. But if thats what you got
take care of it. If you want 15" wheels then go with the phone-dial or turbine rims from the 87's. A set of eagle GT's are cheap.
