The Kirkland brand is CostCo's in house brand. They used to have problems with the tires when they were made by Yokohama but they recently switched manufacturers. The UniRoyal Goodrich company makes the tires now and quality has been drastically improved.
They are solid tire for the price. Remember, tires are like most other things, "you get what you pay for."
