I was able to get my hands on 15" 5-Spoke rims of a new 1999 Mercury Cougar
for my 96 Contour LX - V6 (came with 14" steel rims - 195/65TR-14 MX4's).

I would like to keep factory ride quality same - its little on soft side.
I also want to keep my overall tire/wheel size the same. The tire size I
will have to go to is 195/60TR-15. The 185/65TR-15 might handle very poorly.

I have narrowed my choices down to the new Bridgestone RE910 and BFGoodrich
Touring T/A TR4 (195/60TR-15).

How do these two compare in ride quality and handling? I don't push my
car too much at all. Just lots of 70 mph long drives. I like quite rides.

I would really appreciate any comments or other tire suggestions.

Any opinions on going to a 185/65TR-15? Honda Accord has them (SR).

Thanks. Wahid
