I need to replace the old tires on my 83 GT. The current tires are the Michelin TRX 220/55R390s, so I'm looking at having to replace both the tires and the wheels.
I understand that I can fit a pair of 245/50-16s on the front and 255/50-16s on the rear, but that the offset of the new wheels will be critical.
Can anyone tell me who makes the wheels that will fit my four lug spindles and axels? The tire manufaturer recomends a 16X7.5 wheel for the front and a 16X8.0 for the rear.
