Michelin XW4 sucks ?????

My Grand Am has 195/70SR-14 Michelin XW4. While they ride smooth and comfortable,
they suck in cornering and handling.

I know that XW4's are not performance tire and Michelins are the best, but I am
looking for just a little bit better cornering and handling.

Does BFGoodrich Touring T/A SR4 195/70SR-14 handle a little better ?
Do they ride as comfortable and smooth as the XW4's ?
