I own a 1993 Mazda RX-7 with the R1 handling package. The stock tires were the S-07 from Bridgestone and I can't say enough good things about them. The are a hard rubber tire when you are not pushing the car and sticky when you turn up the wick. These tires also lasted me over 30,000 miles under extremly spirited driving. But beware!!!!!! The tires have to be blazing to give you the performance numbers. These tires are pulling .98g's on the skidpad and are only 225/50-16!!!!
