My favorite tire store recommends BFG Touring TA HR4 as being the best all around tire in my climate (Cleveland Snow!). He says the Dunlop D60A2 would provide marginally better grip in the dry, but would give poorer snow traction. As I currently have Firestone Firehawks, which give poor snow traction, the Dunlops don't seem to be the way to go. I hate to destroy the great feel the Contour SE has in the dry. Does anyone have any experience with the Touring TAs in both summer and winter?
