Ihave just bought goodyear 225/70/16 tires for about 121.00 plus tax.The tires have an excellent tread design and are supposed to be better in the mud and snow with a longer tread life than the goodyear ls tires.I got 29000 miles out of the ls tires and during the 29000mile period Iexperienced hydroplanining and poor handling.I was told that I should get over 40000 miles with the goodyear hp tires with rotations every 6000 miles.For the price of the grand cherokee I feel goodyear shuold pay for at least half of the purchase price of the goodyear hp tires.....
