I replaced Goodyear GT+4's (z rated that went bald in under 30,000) with a set of the VR4's. Wet traction increased tremendously and well as some improvement in dry traction. I swore the GT+4's would slip if the driver in front spit out his window!. Slightly more sidewall movement, but this may be inherent with going from the Z to the V rating. I did originally jump up to a 255/50 16 from a 225/60 16, but there was some abnormal wear in the center of the larger tires (dealer assured me this wouldn't happen trying to squeeze this skins on a 7 inch rim!). The dealer did switch them (cost me $90 after 25,000 miles) to the original size and so far no major problems. They do ride more firm than a Michelin. Hope that helps.
