help: Yokohama AVID V4's?

For Acura Legend GS: Are Yokohama AVID V4's the best value for my car?
Obviously looking for the best mix of traction, handling & wear for the
buck. I had MXV4's but I am told they no longer are made as "V's."
Option of XGT's is at least another another $40+ each...Opinions for
a lead foot?
