I went ahead and installed Costco's version of X ones and I was very disappointed. The X
one version would of probably be the same. I was looking for a smooth ride with a good
traction but the ride was much harder than the original Firestone FR680 that were on the
vehicule, so hard, that I had to re-install the old FR680, it was not acceptable. The
personnel at Costco's were very courteous and explain that maybe it was because Michelin
tends to maximize tread width (true if I compare the FR680 and radial +, they're almost 1
inch wider)and I end up with a stronger tire with less shoc absorbtion even if it is size
for size. Since I have little Civic the difference was very noticeable.(First 500')
