I'm looking for recommendations for *quiet* all-season tires for my 2000 Honda Civic EX. Firestones were original equipment. I'm considering Yokohama Aegis LS4s, Kelly Navigator Golds, and General Touring A/S, which are moderately priced, and Michelin Destiny and a Firestone all season, which are more expensive.Any informed advice would be appreciated. If you want a quiet tire do not buy the Dunlop SP A2. I've got them on two of my car can the noise level is going up as the miles go on. When they were new they were very quiet. Now after 12,000 miles I can't stand the noise. Everything the reviews say about this tire having good traction and performance are true but the noise factor is ruining these tires for me. The Yoko Aegis LS4 is a really good tire the people seem to overlook. I have used these for 25,000 miles and could not be more pleased with their performance. The wear well have good dry traction very good wet traction and almost snow tire traction in the white stuff. Also if you are looking for a quiet tire, this is it. You will be satisfied with the Aegis LS4.IP: Logged | |
