rspivey unregistered	posted February 26, 2003 09:54 PM I'm doing some tire research, and I can't decide on a good tire to replace the Goodyear Eagle GA's on my 1999 Pontiac Firebird. My car is used only for combo city/highway driving, no racing etc. I've found that the Eagle GA's offer almost no wet traction; I can hydroplane at any speed: 45mph - 60mph with no stomping on the gas. I'm looking for a good, quiet (if possible) tire to replace these that have better wet traction. Any suggestions? IP: Logged
Guest unregistered	posted February 27, 2003 12:51 PM Your right, the Goodyear Eagle GA is not that great of a tire, and it is expensive. A good tire to consider is the Dunlop Sport A2. Firebird Sucks unregistered	posted February 27, 2003 02:45 PM So why did you buy that POS Pontiac Firebird? I can think of better ways of wasting thousands of dollars. I recommend some low quality Firestone tires for your low quality Pontiac Firebird POS. IP: Logged
