Drive a A4 2.8 Quattro in mid-Michigan. Current tires are Dunlop D60 A2 (205/55/16), which i was less then impressed with in the snow. I'm in need of new tires and can use some advice. Although my normal preference would be performance over comfort, living in mid-Michigan i've slowly changed my priority to comfort (noise) over performance.First off, any recommendation on all season vs dedicated summer/winter would be welcome. Assuming all season, i'm looking at the following list, based on Tirerack, this forum, and other sources : RE950, Pilot XGT H4, Pilot HX MXM, P6000 Sport Veloce, SP Sport A2 (MXV4+ was on the list, but i haven't read too many positive 1st hand reviews). Any hands-on experience in similar environment or same/similar car ? Thanks, Bart IP: Logged |

I live in Toronto Canada and drive an Audi A4 1.8T with 205/55R16. In november 2001, I installed 4 Nokian NRW all weather plus on the vehicule. Just wonderfull in any weather including some tough winter conditions. I noticed recently that Nokian came out in 2002 with an improved version over NRW, it's called WR. That's where you should be going.IP: Logged | |
