I have a 2001 Ram 4x4 with the off-road package. I was curious if anyone knew the width of the factory 17in rims. Also, I am pondering putting on larger tires...any recommendations for a good sized tire that will fit without a lift? I currently have Goodyear 265/70 R17 Wrangler GS-A.IP: Logged |

According to my book they are 17 X8 wheels. But you can check them yourself. Your placard will list the wheel size, the original tire size and the proper inflation pressure for that size. The placard is usually located on a doorpost or in the glove box. OR You can dismount a wheel off the vehicle. The size ought to be marked on the inside. Hhope this helps. IP: Logged | |
