What are the thoughts of tire rack testing..after seeing that some tires seem to be rated very high vs tests by others I was thinking that they seem to really inflate the rating on some of the Bridgestone that discount tire.com does not carry..

another thing I saw were a bridgestone was rated as a 9.5 across the board vs 7's and 8's for all the others tires yet lots of customers gave it bad reviews and it only got a 6 on will buy again

The Tire Rack just told me the Bridgestone Potenza 950 was a better tire for me than the Michelin MXV4. I was surprised because of the cost difference. Wouldn't they want to sell the most expensive of the two, or do you think they make a better profit off of the Bridgestones so they push them.

In the surveys, the Bridgestone rated higher.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

they could make more...its interesting all the bridgestones rate near perfect and their biggest comp. does NOT sell bridgestone...I am looking for new tires for my MB wagon and read all the reviews on the 950..I posted this below>>> posted January 16, 2002 02:50 PM

I just some reviews on the 950...About 4 that I read really hate the tire...even some who love it say the noise is bad and the ride firm and thats what i look for (if you figure the could doctor the reviews to get you to buy what they want to sell)...someone without an ax to grind..if someone who loves it says its loud and firm I would guess its loud and firm
