I just bought a 94 Jag xj6 and need new tires. I care much more about low noise and long life than "performance" At Tire Rack the salesman said that Yokahama Avid Touring ($49.) would not be compatible with the suspension and that I needed to buy at least V Speed rated tires (the Avid is rated S) such as the Michelin MXV4+ at about 3 times the price. Would appreciate any feedback!
