I am looking to replace the tires on my A4. Anyone has any comments on these H rated tire? Snow traction is pretty important since I live in Midwest. Michelin MXV4 plus Yokohama Avid H4 Yokohama YK 4200 (same tread design as the avid, longer treadlife carry by Discount Tire only, rather new) Bridgestone Potenza RE 930iAny other suggestion? Greatly appreciate your comments.

Michelin MXV4 Plus a good tire but expensive. Bridgestone Potenza RE 930 a tire that been discontinued about a year ago. Was replaced by RE 950 a big improvement in the wet and dry but tread design is not so good for snow. Yokohama AVID H4 good in wet soft in dry and bad in snow. Discount tire YK 4200 is nothing more than a Yokohama AVID T4. The tread pattern is the same as the T4 the AVID H4 uses a directional tread design.IP: Logged |

I am running a MXV4 for the last year and a half. I read a lot of tire reviews and consumer reports on a variety of tires and I chose the MXV4 because the reviews were most favourable. I had Yokos and I noticed the difference right away. Better handling, quiter ride, great grip in rain and specially in snow since I live in Toronto were in the winter white is the color of the landscape. I hope this helps. quote: Originally posted by Kyriakon: I am looking to replace the tires on my A4. Anyone has any comments on these H rated tire?
