best prices i could find online set of 4 w/shippingx-one = $68/ea ($301 set delivered) avid touring = $41/ea ($190 set delivered) toyo 800 = $56/ea ($281 set delivered - onlinetires.com shipping is $$$) Is the Michelin worth the extra $ in terms of noise, handling, wet performamce, and durability)? It doesn't seem like it from the reviews I've read so far... IP: Logged |

check out the Bridgestone Turanza H Revo because it has gotten very good reviews for noise and comfort, even better than the Michelin X-One. The X-One will last longer though, but costs a little bit more. The other two tires are also very good tires. I think the Bridgestones will stick better to the road than the other tires.IP: Logged |

I had a set of Michelin X ones and thought they were overpriced and overrated. Get the Yoko AVID Touring. IP: Logged |

I decided on the Avid Touring, got 'em from TireRack. They drop shipped to local installer, and were on my car within 36 hours of my orderling online. First impression -- much better, quieter, more comfortable riding on the Camry than the original (?) mid-lo end Michelins.IP: Logged |
