Anyone use BFG Touring HR4 or VR4 on a mid size care, what are they like for Noise/Ride and traction, I just bought a used 98 accord
and the OE MXV4Plus feel like rocks on bad roads and are terrible in the rain.

Thank you

i bought them for the front of my car, Mazda MX-6, and have to say they are fair in noise level and better than average in dry traction and just average in wet.

have you looked at the Goodyear Aquatred 3. The redesign seems to have helped this tire out greatly. It received great reviews at tirerack.com

unless you drive real aggressively, you really don't need to look at a V rated tire, but if you really want a good one then look at the Bridgestone RE 730 or a very good cheaper alternative the Kumho Supra 712.

hope these suggestions helps you out.
