I have two Mitsubishi Galant's with original Goodyear Eagle tires. Between 17K-20K miles I started hearing noise that sounded like brake pads dragging on the discs.. After several visits to dealer, new brake pads, rotors, etc. and having this problem on other cars the Mits. dealer tried swapping whole wheel/tire set from brand new car and NO NOISE. Determined only happens on the Galants with GOODYEAR EAGLE tires after about 20k wear. GOODYEAR claims they know nothing about this but MISUBISHI has sent a SERVICE NOTICE to all their dealers but nothing they can do since it is a tire problem.
