Why high performance I wonder ? Your average 'S' rated tire is rated to what, about 112mph isn't it ? I think if you go 'hi-po' you will eliminate a LOT of really good, and less expensive, tires -instead guaranteeing yourself a very expensive set of tires, now and in two years when they wear out-usually made of a soft rubber compound/quick wearing . If thats what you want, there are plenty of $200(ea!) tires to fit your bill... I found a lot of good info at tirerack.com and also at discounttiredirect.com. For ratings under various conditions, tirerack has some info as does consumer reports...
