I have a 1960 t-bird with blackwalls (yuk.) I can't really afford new wide whites, but modern white walls are only about 3/4" - 1". I have seen a few cars and conversion vans running around with wider white walls. Anybody know of any brands? I need 215/75R14 or 225/75R14.

The best place I know of to get tires for classics is Coker Tire.

Check them out here: http://www.coker.com/default.asp
