I am shopping for new tires for my Frontier. I do some off-roading and want tires that will perform well in mud, snow, sand, rain, etc. I am planning an extensive trip to the southwest and plan to 4-wheel while there. Any suggestions for good tires would be appreciated.IP: Logged |

If you just do some 4 wheeling I would recommend a A/T tire. I would recommend the Pirelli Scorpion A/T!! A/T tires perform best in Slick rock, Ice, Rain, some loose dirt. But if you are looking for a tire that will perform well in mud, sand, loose dirt and snow. I would recommend a M/T tire. If you gave any questions you can e-mail me at on1belay@aolcom Steve quote: Originally posted by femcoyote: I am shopping for new tires for my Frontier. The best tire value is the Michelin LTX...in mud & snow or all-terrain versions, but you'll probably want the all-terrain...they are pricey but ride great, are very quiet, and last forever. My father and I have Jeep grand cherokee's and both of us love the LTX's
