 |  posted March 10, 2001 05:58 PM     I am shopping for new tires for my Frontier.  I do some off-roading and want tires that will perform well in mud, snow, sand, rain, etc.  I am planning an extensive trip to the southwest and plan to 4-wheel while there.  Any suggestions for good tires would be appreciated.

 |  posted March 22, 2001 02:57 PM     If you just do some 4 wheeling I would recommend a A/T tire. I would recommend the Pirelli Scorpion A/T!! A/T tires perform best in Slick rock, Ice, Rain, some loose dirt.

 |  posted March 29, 2001 10:57 AM     The best tire value is the Michelin LTX...in mud & snow or all-terrain versions, but you'll probably want the all-terrain...they are pricey but ride great, are very quiet, and last forever.  My father and I have Jeep grand cherokee's and both of us love the LTX's
