Want to replace my original Firestone Wilderness AT Tires (255x70RX16) with a more highway SUV Tire. Want better handling and stopping both wet/dry conditions. Do not do any off road ventures. Considering Michelin Cross Terrain SUV or LTX MS; Pirelli P Zero Scorpian or Toyo Proxes ST. Any suggestions???

I have a '95 and went with the Bridgestone Dueler H/L. Quiet, highway SUV tire that outperformed all highway SUV tires at tirerack.com. They last 60,000miles. The Michelins and Pirellis, and Toyos probably will cost you a lot more(like $200) and not be one bit better. Definitely shop online. Big savings and they will answer any questions. Thousands of people write in their tire experiences there too.
