My mechanic friend is trying to sell me a set of tires by a company named "Grand Am" he says they are good for 80,000 miles. If anyone knows about these tires or this brand I'm beeging for a reply. Going on a trip in a month and need a new set. thanks in advance

They are good for 80,000 miles because they are made out of granite. They squeal great though.
