Hi guys,
Would like your opinion. I bought the Mich.LTX M/S 31-10.5x15 for my tahoe and lost
about 2 mpg and feel that they are a lot stiffer over bumps than OEM tires. Considering going to a Dunlop Sport Rover GTX P25570 x15 H-rated tire. I hoping to get
a little softer ride and better handling.
Plus recooperate mpgs with the lower height.
This size is about the same height as OEMs

Most of my driving is freeway.
Any info. is greatly appreci.!!!

Mike

Unfortunetly your desired results are going to be tough to achieve. In order to achieve better handling you must be prepared to give up some of those softer ride characteristics. There is a direct relationship to a tires ability to provide better handling, steering response, etc., etc. to it's "stiffness" some handling traits are achieved by tread pattern design and compounding, though most are realted to construction in other areas and generaly result in a tire being a little "stiffer". The Dunlop GTX will accomplish everything else you are looking for and better wet traction (I have used them on several vehicles and the wet traction is spectacular! Until about 60-70% worn) I would just not be anticipating any signifigant improvement in ride quality (softness or comfort)
Hope it helps.
