has anybody driven Kumho ECSTA 712 in snow? any comment? Should I even try?

I'll be getting these tires for my Subaru SVX by spring. If you are concerned about driving in snow get some dedicated snow tires. That's what I do here in the Adirondacks of New York. The 712's aren't designed for snow. It's a high (?) performance tire. Check out more info at tirerack and Kumho. Andy

I have the Kumho 712......
brand new 2 months ago.....
tried them in the snow.......
not very good at all......
this being on a RWD merkur.....
bought new Hakk 1's....
Love them, can drive anywhere I want

Firestone SH30's are a high performance that supposedly do well in snow. I haven't personally tried them myself.
