I am considering getting a set of winter tires for my wifes car but I'm not sure if they will be worth it. We live in northwestern Illinois where we can get our share of snow. She drives an hour each way to work in here Olds Alero. The car has ABS and Trac control. I was thinking of shelling out the money for a set of Artic Alpin tires for the car. Any optinions are appreciated.
