Hi all

I'm up in Fort McMurray, Alberta... there will be lots of snow this winter and I've decided to make the obvious choice and put some dedicated winter tires on the Accord. I had planned to get Arctic Alpins but unfortunately, there is only one dealer up here and he says they're out of stock in Edmonton.. ?? Anyway he suggested Hankook W400's. I can't find any mention of these tires other than the manufacturer's website, so for all I know, they could be complete garbage. I looked into Dunlop Wintersport M2's but they were going to be over CDN$1000.

There is a Cambodian Tire up here, I think they might be able to get Alpin's in but I've had such terrible service with them I'd go out of my way to buy from anyone else.

Anyway... has anyone got any experience with the Hankooks? Thanks in advance.

Cambodian Tire, I love this one. In Ottawa some of us call it Crapy Tire. Anyway, they are bunch of car buchers.
How about Nokia(n) 1's; my favorite in snow, slash or new Toyo's. BTW, my brather had some Hankooks 'winters' on his junky Sentra and thought of them as OK but not as good as my Nokian1's.
Good Luck.
