jer unregistered	posted October 28, 2000 06:35 PM I've got to replace the tires on my '87 Mustang; it has just come in to my possession so I've never had to do it before... but the snow tires have to go. I'm leaning toward TigerPaws or something (they're 13" tires), but I was wondering if anyone had better suggestions. Thanks in advance. IP: Logged
donfromnaples unregistered	posted October 29, 2000 07:09 PM are you looking for performance tires? is your mustang a 5.0? the Tiger Paw are basic tires that don't necessarily do anything well, just ok. I like Yokohoma AVS Intermediate and BFGoodrich Euro T/A for a more performance handling tire. The Yokohoma handles very well but will only last about a year. The Euro T/A will handle much better than a Tiger Paw, not as well as the Yokohoma, but last longer. Definitely shop around. Tire prices vary a lot place to place. The cheapest I have found are at Sam's Club, Tirerack.com(awesome place), and Tires.com(also a good place for mail order).
