When you say "wet", I don't know if you meet wet roads or mud and wet rocks. For the latter, I'd go with with the BFG's. If you want a quieter tire for you JGC and you don't venture off dirt roads, look at the Michelin LTX M/S. The LTX A/T is slightly louder and should be better off the road and in the snow. I have the LTX A/T's on my '94 JGC and do not find them to be very loud, in fact with the windows up, I don't hear them at all - and they are worlds better than the Goodyears that I took off!

 | posted October 02, 2000 10:20 AM Now that's not true!! Some are quieter than others. The Pirelli Scorpion A/T's and the Yokohama Geolandar A/T Plus's are quiet. And both of these tires are great for wet and icy conditions. And cheaper than the bfg's.
If you do not do much off-road stuff, then I would go with the Michelin LTX A/T.
