Acura96 Associate Member	posted September 18, 2000 11:46 PM I recent purchase Acura LS 96. I would like to replace a wider tire for my Acura, from 195/60R14 to 205/60R14. Is it ok to do so? Does anyone have any suggestion on this matter? Thank you in advanced IP: Logged
Tireman9 Member	posted September 19, 2000 11:19 AM A P195/60R14 85H is about 8" wide and 23.2" tall. A P205/60R14 88H is about 8.2 wide and 23.7 tall. The P205 will carry the load but only you can look under the car to check clearances. Your Speedometer will read about 2% low. Please note how I used the complete sixe designation. IP: Logged

Jay unregistered	posted September 20, 2000 06:17 AM I assume you are tallking about an Integra LS? What are you hoping to gain from the new tires? That size might fit, but it will make your car sit up higher (taller tires) and probably look funny. There are quite a few performance tires in the original size that will handle very nicely on your car. IP: Logged
