Looking for All Terrain tire for 93 4 Runner (V-6), to go off road in the desert southwest. Considering Bridgestone Dueler AT, BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A or Michelin LTX. Any suggestions or thoughts?IP: Logged |

The General Grabber AT is a good all round tire for less money. If money is no object and you want a really radical look that is still good on the highway, try the Super Swamper.IP: Logged |

I suggestions at lease an A/T tire like a BFG A/T or one of these at this link! http://skidplate4x4.tripod.com/Survey.html Now, do you want a tire just for 4 wheeling or is this a tire that you are going to be driving all the time. If you want a true 4 wheeling tire, them look a the M/T tires. But they are noisy on the road because of the large lugs and spaces on the tire. But if you want a good 4 wheeling tire for a type of conditions then go with a A/T tire. If you want a good A/T tire I would suggestions one of those three at that link above!!Steve quote: Originally posted by Offroader: Looking for All Terrain tire for 93 4 Runner (V-6), to go off road in the desert southwest. All of your considerations are good choices. Go with the BFG's if you are spending more than 50% off-road (you mentioned SW desert), the LTX M/S if you are mostly on the street, and the LTX A/T for something in between. The Michelins will be much quieter, but the BFG AT's are better in the dirt and/or sand.IP: Logged | |
