I've heard that this is a great all season, and I'm considering replacing the stock SP 8000Es on my Audi A4 with them. Whaddaya think? I expect to do a little, but not much, driving in snowy conditions (I live in New York City) and am looking for high performance all seasons (if such a thing exists).

The 5000 or the toyo fz4 would be my two choices for a performance all season. Toyo costs more but is worth it!

If you like the handling of the 8000E's you will likely be disappointed with the SP 5000's. I would get a set of inexpensive snows mounted on steel whells for winter and mount SP 8000's or SP 9000's on your alloy's for the rest of the year! If handling is unimportant, the SP 5000 is a good all-round tire.
