I need tires for my 1996 Honda Accord. What would be the best tire? Are the Firestone FireHawk SH30's a good choice? I drive normally in a flat location. However, several times a year I drive in the mountains of Virginia. Suggestions welcome, and thank you!IP: Logged |

the SH 30 are great all season performance tires that will last a while too. they have above average handling, above average tire wear, a great price(check out tirerack.com), and an H speed rating. Driving on a flat paved surface and a hilly paved surface are no different unless you mean you go when there is ice and snow in Virginia, then I would say-big difference. I would use winter tires on in the mountains if you take that trip in the winter, and the SH 30 tires the rest of the year. IP: Logged |

Thank you for the reply. We only have ice/snow occasionally. Otherwise, it is either wet or dry. IP: Logged | |
