Can anyone recommend a supplier for tire testing equipment? I am looking for equipment to test damaged tires...valve leakage, tire body leakage, Shore A hardness, etc. wford@ipa.netIP: Logged |

A Tread Durometer can be found at www.durometer.com. Valve leakage, of used vlaves & valve cores must be done on the original wheel. The act of removing the core or removing the valve may destroy any evidence of leakage. I simply apply a soap & water solution ald look for bubbles. Tire body leakage can be done either by weting the tire with a soap & water solution or submerging in a tank of water and looking for bubbles. Were you looking for something else? IP: Logged | |
