Hi,

I have a 1989 Tbird SC. The car has tire size 245/50/R16 right now. I have done a lot of research via Tirerack, message forums, etc. I will definitely order the desired tires from tirerack by the end of this week. My question is if 245/50/R16 is the best performance size for my car. I might want to go 245/45/R16. Some people say because my car is rather big and heavy, I should stay at 245/50/R16. Please give your thoughts.

The recommendation was the Potenza RE730. How does that tire compare to the Eagle F1 GS?
