I have a '94 Volvo 850 sedan and need to replace all 4 tires. Less than 2 years ago I replaced my tires with the Michelin Energy MXV4. I only got 25-30,000 miles out of them.Any suggestions for replacement tires that may last a bit longer? I need tires that can handle well in heavy, frequent rain and don't mind paying a little extra for safety. IP: Logged |

according to your posting, you are interested in longevity and capable to handle heavy and frequent rain tire. I would recommend Bridgestone Potenza RE930. Believe it or not, I got 80,000 long miles out of them and still had a bit more of tread left. Yet, they still handled very well in the pouring rain. No scary hydroplan that I can recall. Now if you talk about other aspects such as dry and snow performance. They're uhhh good and so-so respectivily. This had been my experience with the RE930. Of course, I have departed from them and moved on to something else now. IP: Logged |
