 | posted July 30, 2000 06:04 PM Tirerack suggested the BFG as a good all-season snow-capable tire. Any thoughts or suggestions? I'll need to replace the Michelin XW4's (205/70/15) and need an "on-road" all season tire that works well in snow. I know I could go with a set of dedicated snows, but at this point I'd rather find something that can stay on all year.
Tirerack said the BFG Long Trails were good in the snow, but I thought that was an SUV tire, and I'm not sure if it will work well on the Outback. IP: Logged |

will be much better than the bfg's.

 | posted August 02, 2000 05:44 PM I've heard of Vredestein making a decent snow tire, but I don't know much about the rest of their line. Have you driven on the Quatrac 2 and if so on what vehicle (or do you sell them for that matter?). Their website makes the tire sound too good to be true!
Also, how does the quality, performance, & longevity compare with the major brands? IP: Logged | |
