I'm needing a new set of tires for my GMC Jimmy 4X4 which had Michelin XW4 as original equiptment. The Michelin's has traveled for 60,000 miles but are a bit pricy.Has anyone had any experience with Cooper Cobra or Discoverer A/T tires? About 99% of my driving is pavement and no snow but sometimes wet. I'd appreciate any information anyone has.--JDL

When the XW4's on my GMC Safari AWD van wore out, I replaced them with Michellin ATX M+S. These have lasted more than 50k miles and still going great. They are a lot more firm than the XW4 and that helps reduce the van from wallowing as much. (Probably less of an issue with your vehicle).
