Bob unregistered	posted July 27, 2000 01:31 AM Does anyone know who makes Mopar Autopar brand tires? I ordered a full size spare with my 97 Voyager and the dealer gave us a autopar 4S III tire. So I'm just curious as to who actually makes these tires, for Chrysler. IP: Logged
David unregistered	posted July 28, 2000 09:32 AM Bob If you can not find any name notation on the sidewall of the tire your best bet is going to to locate thew "DOT" number on the sidewall and post it here on the BBS. I'm sure someone reading will have an industry publication called "Who Makes It And Where". The DOT number will be identified as just that, after the letters DOT, there will be a series of numbers & Letters. That is the code needed to find out who made it. There is not much chance anyone a consumer could contact at DymlerChrysler would be able to provide that information. IP: Logged
Bob unregistered	posted July 30, 2000 12:46 PM Thanks David. I used your DOT advice and just identified the tire. I found a site the list who makes what based on the DOT number. It looks like this tire was made at the Canadian BF Goodrich plant. IP: Logged
