Ive been doing a lot of research lately and have narrowed it down to these 4 tires:
Tire UTQG Buy / Dry / Wet / Hydro / Cornering / Steering / Ride / Noise / Tread
Bridge Potenza RE71 140 AA 8.0 / 8.8 / 7.4 / 7.0 / 8.6 / 8.6 / 7.1 / 6.9 / 6.1
Dunlop Sport 8000 200 AA 7.7 / 8.8 / 7.5 / 7.2 / 8.6 / 8.6 / 7.1 / 7.2 / 6.0
Pirelli P7000 SS 320 AA 7.4 / 8.2 / 7.9 / 8.0 / 8.0 / 8.0 / 7.7 / 7.4 / 7.1
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS 300 AA A 7.4 / 8.7 / 8.2 / 8.0 / 8.7 / 9.0 / 7.0 / 7.0 / 7.0

Anyone have any good/bad experiences with these tires. The numbers are from tirerack.com. thanks!

PS Im looking to get 245/50r16 tires for my 16x7.5 rims. I also have a separate set of snow tires, so snow traction doesnt matter much.

I have a 1990 BMW 325i cabrio, I bought pirelli p7000 supersport tires 215/40/17 and I love the tires, the cornering is great, the wet tractions is even better, the only set back is the noise, they are a little bit noisy, but I think that p7000 ss is the best high performance all weather tire out there....
