Any tire recommendations for a 96 Ford Taurus LX would be appreciated. Tire size is 205/65/R15. I am more interested in value than performance, but don't want to completely trade off either. Normal driving conditions in the South. Your comments are appreciated. IP: Logged |

For value, I like the Firestone FT70c. Graet Price and Wet performance with decent ride, noise, snow, and wear. If you want to look at tires with higher mileage, check out the Michelin X-One or Bridgestone Turanza T. Both are excellent all-season tires, but come at a higher cost.IP: Logged |

I hope this isn't too late. I have a '96 Sable and like performance. I put on a set of Firestone Firehawk SH30's. I LOVE them. I went up a little to a 225/60/15. You wouldn't believe my new cornering ability! I paid about $85 each here in So. Calif. quote: Originally posted by Clueless: Any tire recommendations for a 96 Ford Taurus LX would be appreciated.
