What are the best cheap tires for a 1992 Ford Probe (stick shift and VERY noisy) with only another year or so to go? No snow but lots of rain (Florida).

All cheap tires are not created equal, but equal enough if the price is right. The trade-off between an inexpensive tire and a middle of the road tire is usually wear and wet. The tires are a little smaller physically, tread depth is reduced and less expensive compounds are used. Knowing that and you don't have to worry about snow buy the cheapest tire that has strong circumferential grooves that allow for water evacuation. that will compensate for the reduce tread compounds. Try the Firestone FR410 or F570. Good luck!
