for everyday use on the street, and a little bit of off-road, which tire is better - ltx m/s, or the original equipment goodyear sr-a? the sr-a seems to have a very high rolling resitance and feels sluggish. is this my imagination? please advise.IP: Logged |

I'm driving on the Goodyears now and can't wait to get rid of them! I've heard good things about the Michelins and planning to buy a set of LTX A/T's soon - the A/T has a more agressive tread pattern and is supposed to be better in the snow then the M/S. I'll let you know!IP: Logged |

I had the A/T's put on this morning! I am very impressed at how quiet these tires are considering the agressive tread pattern. My old Goodyears were howlers! The ride is very comfortable - Even at 35 psi they feel "softer" somehow than Wranglers. I haven't tried them in the muck or the snow yet, but I like 'em so far.IP: Logged |

I had Michelin LTX M/S (not A/t) tires on my chevy Blazer S10. They are the absolute best tires around. They are the quietest, best handling, smoothest tires around. I tried the BFG A/T and Goodyear Wranglers and they stunk. These Mich tires will last 80k miles. I just sold my Blazer and the Michelins had 60k on them and still looked good. You cant go wrong with Michelins !! Dump the Goodyears !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!IP: Logged |
