I have an 89 Regal coupe. My current set of Dunlop G/T Qualifiers need replacement.
I drive fairly hard, so I'd like a tire with a stiff wall and large block tread. And I like the raised white letter look.

If you have any comments on the above tires, I'd appreciate it. I've been reasonably happy with the Dunlop's, but I'd prefer to try something different.

I was going to go with the Firehawk SS10 because in any given size, they have the widest tread width of all these choices.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong: mounting a tire that's slightly too wide for a rim, will increase the overall diameter of the tire, correct? I won't go dramatic, just 235/60-14.
