I have a set of 1992 BFG All Terrains that have separated 3 of 4 tires. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so what was your recourse. I`ve been told by bfg that tires are over 6 years old and out of warranty. Tires have over 5\16 tread left. The last tire blewout on freeway causing quite a bit of body damage.

It's best to throw tires away when they're five years old, whether they've been used or not, because they deteriorate. It's also best to run on the tires often rather than let them sit. This circulates the anti-oxidants.
